A FANTASTIC PERSPECTIVE OF THE LAKE

Crater Lake is the deepest lake in the United States, and one of the deepest in the world. One of the best ways to experience Crater Lake National Park is to take a Standard Lake cruise around Crater Lake. Effective August 15, 2016 you will need to take mandatory shuttle from Rim Village Community House to the dock due to construction on the Cleetwood Cove parking lot. Please note, operations of the tours are based upon weather conditions and subject to change.

The Standard Lake Cruise will allow you to learn about the history, geology, and cultural significance of the lake, while viewing the natural beauty of the caldera from the boat.

All guests must travel to Cleetwood on the mandatory shuttle bus that departs from the Rim Village Community House. This shuttle is a separate service and tickets can only be purchased same day, at the time of check in, at the Rim Village Community House. Only individuals with boat tour reservations may purchase tickets for the shuttle. The shuttle prices are $15 per adult, and $10 per child (age 3 to 11), in addition to tour tickets. Please note that children 2 and under are not permitted on the boats due to rules enforced by the Coast Guard.

Tour seats may be purchased up to 2 days in advance by contacting Central Reservations at 888-774-2728 within the U.S. or 303-297-2757 outside the U.S. Central Reservations is open 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., 7 days a week. Tour seats are limited and remaining available seats are also sold through our self-service kiosks located in the lobby of Crater Lake Lodge and inside the Annie Creek Gift Shop at Mazama Village within to 24 hours. Kiosk sales end when the tour is sold out or at 2 hours prior to the tour departure, whichever comes first. Guests must check in and purchase shuttle tickets at Rim Village Community House 2 hours prior to the boat trip.

The Standard Lake cruises are scheduled to operate daily through September 5, 2016. Schedules provided are based upon weather permitting and are subject to change. Guests must check in and purchase shuttle tickets at Rim Village Community House 2 hours prior to the boat trip . If tours are cancelled, we will do our best to accommodate guests with advance reservations on the next available tour or we will issue a refund of the deposit.
